We took a bus to 대청댐 (Daecheong Dam) and walked along the lake soaking in our own sweat. The lake is as beautiful as many of the lakes I've seen in Canada, and it was so inviting. We finally settled on a place in the shade, with a view of the lake to set up for a picnic. After eating lunch, Myles met up with us after a sleep in. Ben and Myles went for a walk talking photos, while Mary and I held down the fort, napping, lounging, reading, and planning the next several weekends to fill August and September now that the rainy season is over.
The four of us had a great day/afternoon at the lake and dam, and we all came back to 유천동 (Yucheon-dong) for a family dinner.
That night I left Daejeon to go see Luanne, Rachel, and Jodi in Suwon. The evening was spent in a hospital with Jodi, and then as planned, Luanne, Rachel and I (minus Jodi) left bright and early for a day at Everland (the Korean version of Wonderland).

There were many animals, but I took a liking to these dudes as they were hilarious! They were chasing each other around to tuck and poke on each others twig and berries...horny little buggers!
Wearing our Everland Zebra Team Awesome Sunnies!
The perfect ending to a perfect day...running around with kids in water fountains and then having an ice cream!
Cheers everyone!
